Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre is a venue for training and competing in track and field, football, futsal and floorball. The facilities include a 300-metre running track with six lanes, and a full-length football field. The spectator stands in the largest hall can accommodate 1,500 people.
The cafeteria in the main entrance lobby is run by the sports clubs TPV, Ilves and Tampereen Pyrintö during the winter time.Other restaurants, cafes and meeting rooms at TESC are also available for use by the organisers of sports events.
The Tampere city sports services has reserved sports facilities from Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre.
Sports facilities reservations
Hall A
is available for public use, unless the track and field facilities have been booked for some specific training session or event. The current reservation status can be checked from the reservation system of the Tampere city sports services. The turf in the middle of the hall is suitable for sports such as football, Finnish baseball, American football, ultimate and rugby. For field and track, the hall features a 300-metre running track with a Polytan surface and six lanes.
Hall B
is a hall for track and field use, featuring a Polytan surface and facilities for weight training and throwing sports.This hall has two long jump pits, a straight running track with four lanes, and facilities for pole vault and high jump.
Hall C
features a full-length football field (100 x 64 m) with artificial turf. A curtain can be used to divide the hall into two parts. Hall C is an excellent venue for various ball sports.
Hall D
features two full-length futsal fields (40 x 20 m) and two floorball fields. The fields are made of Pulastic sports flooring. Hall D can be converted also for seminars and functions (the auditorium can seat 300–500 people).
Training fees (hall A)
• cash payment: EUR 4
• payment by travel card or with a sports club’s season ticket: EUR 2
• 10-visit card: EUR 30
Payments are made at the ticket machine at the entrance of hall A.
The opening hours are Monday to Sunday, 07:00–22:30.
